Welcome to EcosystemBridge! Your Android phone and Windows PC, seamlessly connected.

Getting Started

1. Install the Apps

  • Windows PC: Download the EcosystemBridge_0.2.1_x64-setup.exe from our website and run the installer.
  • Android Phone: Download the EcosystemBridge_v0.2.apk on your Android device and install it. (Note: You may need to allow "Install from unknown sources" in your Android settings).

⚠️ Google Play Protect Block

Because EcosystemBridge requests powerful system permissions, Google Play Protect might block the installation. Follow these steps to bypass the block:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Android phone.
  2. Tap your Profile Picture in the top right corner.
  3. Tap Play Protect.
  4. Tap the Settings icon (gear) in the top right.
  5. Toggle OFF "Scan apps with Play Protect". (Tap "Turn Off" on the warning popup).
  6. Go back to your Downloads and tap the EcosystemBridge_v0.2.apk file again. It will now install successfully!
  7. Once installed, you can go back and turn Play Protect back ON.

2. Pair Your Devices

  • Ensure both your PC and Android phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Open the EcosystemBridge app on your Windows PC. A QR code will appear.
  • Open the EcosystemBridge app on your Android phone and tap the scanner icon.
  • Point your phone's camera at the PC's QR code to pair.

3. Grant Permissions

To unlock the full "Apple-like" ecosystem, EcosystemBridge needs a few permissions on your Android phone:

  • Notifications: To mirror and let you reply to messages from your PC.
  • Clipboard: To sync copied text between devices.
  • SMS & Contacts: To display and send text messages from your PC.
  • Camera & Microphone: To use your phone as a wireless webcam.
  • Nearby Devices / Phone State: To sync battery, calls, and media controls.
