How to Bypass Google Play Protect Block

Because EcosystemBridge is not yet listed on the Google Play Store and requests powerful system permissions, Google Play Protect might block the installation. Follow these exact steps to install it successfully:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Android phone.
  2. Tap your Profile Picture in the top right corner.
  3. Tap Play Protect.
  4. Tap the Settings icon (gear) in the top right.
  5. Toggle OFF "Scan apps with Play Protect". (Tap "Turn Off" on the warning popup).
  6. Go back to your Downloads and tap the EcosystemBridge_v0.2.apk file again. It will now install successfully!
  7. Once installed, you can go back and turn Play Protect back ON. (Play Protect will leave the app alone once it is installed).
